Frederique Bauer

Frederique is a dedicated and seasoned educator serving as the Head of School at iSchoolOC. With over 25 years of experience in the education field, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the school community.

Born in Cannes, the city of the International Film Festival, Frederique holds a Bachelor's Degree in Modern Literature and has a French teaching credential from the French Ministry of Education. She actually implemented the unique participation of a class in the Jury of the “Junior selection” during the Cannes Film Festival. She is also a Certified School Teacher Master Trainer with Foreign Language emphasis, a Certified French Testing Examiner, and a Certified Positive Discipline Classroom Educator.

Frederique joined the iSchoolOC community in 2005 and has played a crucial role in shaping the school's academic vision and mission over the years. Before assuming the position of Head of School, she served as a Pedagogical Advisor and Trainer across all LILA elementary campuses and as the Pedagogical Director at iSchoolOC for two years. Frederique was instrumental in navigating the school through its transition to independence and was in charge of the French Accreditation.

Fluent in French and English, and exposed to German, Spanish, and Dutch, Frederique’s multicultural and multilingual background enriches her approach to education and fosters a diverse learning environment at iSchoolOC.

Beyond her professional commitments, Frederique enjoys spending quality time with her family, reading, and dancing. As a mother herself, she understands the importance of nurturing each child's unique potential and fostering an engaging and supportive educational environment. Her leadership, commitment, and passion continue to shape iSchoolOC into a vibrant community that values academic excellence and cultural diversity.
