Ingrid Savarese

Preschool French Teacher

Ms. Ingrid is thrilled to be back at the International School of Orange County, where she brings her passion for education and culture to the classroom. A bilingual educator fluent in French and English, Ingrid loves sharing her native language and culture with her students. She was born and raised in Paris, France, where she grew up in the heart of her parents' bookstore.


Ingrid attended the renowned French National Music Conservatory in Paris and the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in NYC, where she lived for 10 years. She has also studied German and Latin, adding to her rich linguistic background. Her extensive experience in music, theater, and languages enriches her teaching, allowing her to create an engaging environment for children to explore their world through both play and academics. With over five years of teaching experience, Ingrid is a certified teacher in Early Childhood Development and is known for her patience and nurturing approach. She is passionate about teaching preschoolers, inspired by their curiosity, joy, and excitement for learning. Ingrid is dedicated to adapting her curriculum to meet the needs of each child, ensuring a positive and creative learning experience.


In California, Ingrid has taught at the Saddleback College Child Development Center and Abiding Savior Preschool. She also has extensive experience teaching French, from beginner to advanced levels, at The OC Lingual Institute. Ingrid is also a proud member of the National Society of Leadership and Success.


When she’s not teaching, Ingrid is the proud mother of two daughters, one a Business School graduate and the other just starting college. She enjoys walking in nature, visiting museums, watching football games, and traveling to learn about new cultures.
